This little guy hitched a ride into pogle’s work one day. Not wanting to banish him to a certain death outside (due to below freezing temperatures), he brought him home to me. I whipped up a temporary home, bought crickets to feed him, and arranged to borrow an aquarium for him. He died 3 days after we adopted him (and right after I spent a bunch of money on him, of course).

Since we already had the stuff, pogle then went out and bought two green tree frogs from the local pet store. They don’t do a whole lot, but they are fun to search for in their terrarium.

White paws and stashing a shoe, so it about has to be Draco, but the face looks like Minion… Even I’m confused. 😛

Where there is snow…

There must be pictures of ferrets in the snow! (Well, not today, but soon!)

Ours aren’t very adventurous though: Minion sort of “swam” through it a bit, and Ys just stood there shivering and glaring at us. I chose not to ~~torture~~ expose JJ to the cold since he has no fur at the moment.

Ferret Food Comparison

I think we’ll be going with a mix of Natural Gold, EVO, and Mazuri.

Update: I’d have to order from three different online sites to do the optimal blend, and to get lower shipping I’d have to order $80 on each site. >.< Thankfully, the ferrets are good on food for now.

Update 2: With JJ most likely having Adrenal Disease (we’ll be discussing it with our vet soon), I think I’m going to start pushing the ferrets to try raw food again. Before I always tried cooked chicken, etc, with only chicken broth being popular with Ys and Min. Right now I’m actually testing a bit of raw egg on them (Eggland’s best, so the highest quality I can get); Ys at least licks it a bit but the others aren’t interested. I’ll keep trying, since it’s much better for their systems and could help JJ with his condition.
