Hyper Jack Jack

Action shot right before he fell down between the window sill and the ferret tower. >.>

Ferret wrestling

2009.06

Similar to human wrestling, in that it looks just as disturbing. >.>

Typically at this point Minion would have Jack Jack’s scruff or ear in his jaws while he attempts to death roll him.

And FIGHT!

Guess he chose the fight option today.

Help. Me.

2009.06

Jack Jack will drag Minion around like this for a few minutes before either finally losing the chubby one or getting fed up and fighting back.

Stop TICKLING me!

2009.06

Hyper Jack Jack is hyper. Also, it looks like he’s going to bite me, but all he ever does is mouth you (wraps his mouth around a finger, but he never bites down).

WARNING: Ferrets are not for everyone

1.) For their own safety, ferrets should not be allowed to roam free in the house without supervision. Ferrets have far too much curiosity and not enough sense of self preservation.
2.) Ferrets should have 1-4 hours of playtime every day (how much really depends on your ferret; mine pass out after 1 to 2 hours). A playpen will work in a pinch, but a ferret-proofed room in your house is preferable. They love to run (and to be chased)!
3.) Ferrets do not live very long in the US (on average only about 6 years). They are also very prone to health issues. There *will* be vet bills. Minion cost us $600 when he had a blockage from ingesting part of a couch, and that's *without* surgery.
