A princess in a tower…of shredded paper
Good news for Zoe! From what Zoe would let the vet see — which admittedly wasn’t much — her throat is fine. In fact, she was feeling rather feisty last week and was showing her displeasure by snipping at anyone who got too close. She’s been playing well and getting along with everyone, even the cousins over the holidays. Aside from her fur thinning a bit on her tail (pretty normal for her age/this time of year), she’s doing fine and having fun. 🙂
Edit: Okay, ferret photos are uploaded through the first week of January. I’ll throw a reminder in my calendar to upload more after the holidays, but feel free to send me a reminder if you get desperate for your fix. -M
Zoe is our “water rat”
When I placed her in the tub with 2″ of very warm water in it, she just very calmly started exploring around, sniffing the bubbles and walking all over. After a minute or two she looked at me and just sort of said, “Okay, this was cool but I’m done.” And then I bathed her. I think you can see in her expression what she thought of that. She did very well in her first real bath with us, no nips or anything. 🙂
I’m Clean, Cute, & Fluffy
Now let me out! Damp JJ & Minion in the background.
JJ just looks like a large rat when wet
I should have named him Splinter.
What he looked like a few minutes later
I love the squirrel tail. He, of course, is spazzing out wondering why he smells wrong (and trust me, he smelled PLENTY before the bath, yuck).
I…have no idea
I was probably wringing out some of the water in his fur and he twisted weird in my hands. I swear he’s fine. >.>;
Also, proof that he is indeed fat and it’s not just fur. Crikey.
He kinda looks like an Ewok
The Demented Hedgehog
Minsc’s first bath in the bathtub
He was not a fan. Prior to this I had only given him quick baths in the bathroom sink. He’s a little large for that now…
