Zoe finally lost her fight with what was most likely lymphoma — and fight she did! Never have I met a stronger, more stubborn ferret than Zo-Zo Bean. She’ll be missed greatly by her mom Sydney in Ireland, and our little business is now so much smaller.

  1. I am so sorry for yet another loss. What a fighter she was indeed…she surely held her own against any kitty with nine lives. She may have been small in statue but not in her will to carry on. She was certainly loved.

  2. Michele, I just want to thank you and Paul again for taking such great care of Zoe for the past year and a half; I always felt so much better knowing she was in the care of not only such capable ferret carers, but two true ferret lovers in a true ferret-centric home – I just could not have wished for anything more for her.

I still just cannot believe that she’s gone – it’s going to take a while to sink in. I had held out hope that I would see her again, but so very glad I was able to spend time with her last May!

And you are right, she was a spunky little fighter right from the moment I met her – gave all of her original crew of brothers and sister a run for their money (and their very hides) every single day!
